a series of online interactive presentations by an international line-up of eminent speakers sharing their expertise and facilitating networking to achieve the common goal of:

• highlighting the use of biogas worldwide, share best practice,
• discussing new innovations,
• understanding policy contexts,
• addressing questions around technological challenges and opportunities, and
• feeding in to the upcoming WBA report Pathways to 2030 and the World Biogas Summit.

Building on the 2019 report, The Global Potential of Biogas, The World biogas eFestival will contribute to delivering a clear pathway to 2030 along which the global biogas industry can grow and realize its potential to deliver a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions of 12%. The discussions and case studies presented at World Biogas eFestival will feed in to the next WBA report, Pathways to 2030, and in to the content presented at World Biogas Summit 2020, 7-8 October in Birmingham, UK.
