New Feedstock Opportunities from COVID-19

2nd June 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

£50.00 – £100.00

Surplus production and novel waste streams may become available for the AD industry during coronavirus. What are the issues with accepting these feedstocks and why have they arisen? What to do if your feedstock has decreased?

ADBA invites you to our Learning & Development online workshop: “New Feedstock Opportunities from COVID-19” from 13:00 to 15:00 BST on Tuesday, 2nd June.

With AD a central part to the circular economy and waste hierarchy, it is pivotal for processing organic streams that cannot be used for human consumption or animal feed. ADBA’s network of experts in research, consulting, farming and regulation will be explaining where, what, and how recent developments in the AD industry will impact optimisation including biochemistry, heating, energy generation and digestate.

Who is this workshop for?

AD operators, plant managers, producers of any type of feedstock, farmers, equipment suppliers, consultants and anyone else in and around the AD industry.

What will you take away from this workshop?

  • Which industries are having additional wastes or surplus production and why?
  • How have digester owners and industry responded?
  • Changes on-site; biology, mechanical adjustments, and compliance?
  • What are the regulatory requirements?
  • Operational challenges and optimising your system
  • Plus: group discussions
