Nick Primmer, Policy and Market Analyst, ADBA
Nick will provide an update on the policy changes since October 2019. Nick will also explain the objectives of the upcoming consultation on the Comprehensive Spending Review and the feed-in needed from members.
13:40 – 14:00 New support for clean heat: gathering industry feedback
Jane Lumb, Clean Heat, BEIS
Jane will be explaining the upcoming consultations on the new allocation of flexible Tariff Guarantees, the Green Gas Levy and Green Gas Support schemes, and on Heat Networks. Jane will also be able to answer a few questions from the audience.
14:00- 14:20 Ofgem: COVID-19 challenges
Luke Bailey, Senior Policy Manager-RHI, Ofgem
Luke will touch upon the current mitigation strategy regarding COVID-19, covering the key queries received from the biogas/biomethane sector. These will include delays in payments, schemes application/commissioning dates, reporting obligations, etc. Luke will also respond to general questions from members.

14:55 – 15:15 Future food waste recycling policy
Samuel Hare, Waste and Recycling Policy Advisor, Defra
Sam will present a summary of the current and future legislation affecting feedstock availability that Recycling Consistency Policy currently under development by Defra will provide. Samuel will be able to answer a few questions from the audience.
15:15 – 15:35 Transport decarbonisation roadmap and biomethane potential
Gloria Esposito, Head of Projects, Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership
Gloria will outline the potential of biomethane for transport, refuelling infrastructure, expectations from the Transport Decarbonisation Plan and the DfT’s upcoming consultation. Gloria will be able to answer a few questions from the audience.
15:35 – 15:55 Quality Protocol and recent consultation responses
Sam Hinton, Technical Support Manager, ADBA
Sam will give an overview of the recent consultations submitted to the EA on the matter of Digestate Quality Protocol and the expected legislative changes. Sam will also outline upcoming consultations regarding Biomethane Quality Protocol with the EA. Sam will finish off with the discussion on how we are handling additional feedstocks becoming available as a result of COVID-19.
15:55 – 16:05 Future CfD Consultation

Katy will provide an overview of the consultation on changes to the structure of Contracts for Difference for AD industry input.
